Megan and Kayl are the very first clients I’ve had since moving to Oklahoma, and I could not have asked for better people to start this new stage of my business off with! We did their gorgeous Oklahoma autumn engagement portraits at Martin Nature Park–but when it closed earlier than expected, we moved to a little field I found right next to a Sonic (you would never guess from these images lol)!
These two both go to Oklahoma Christian University which is the same school I attend! Megan actually lives right down the hall from me, which surprisingly we didn’t realize until we got to talking at their session! They got engaged this past May and are planning a spring wedding for 2019! They are the sweetest people and were sooo fun to work with! Their relationship is very fun-loving and sweet, which I think is pretty evident in these images.
This session was also so cool for me because there are so many fall colors! In Texas, things just turn brown in the fall–I don’t think I ever really understood that other states in the South actually get a fall until I got here! It was short, but just enough time to photograph these vibrant colors in Megan and Kayl’s portraits! Megan also did an amazing job coordinating their outfits, so all-in-all, this is the Oklahoma autumn engagement from heaven.
